Care: Delicately hand wash in cold water and hang to dry. To get wrinkles out, comb tutu with your hand and shake.

My name is April Todd and I am the founder of Little Miss Princess Tutu Designs. I graduated from Florida State University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. After teaching for a few years, my husband and I started our family! I am now a stay at home mom to two wonderful children. I wanted to find something to do from home that I could do while my children slept. I really found a great interest in making tutus when my daughter became interested in dressing up like a princess. At the same time, she started taking ballet. I infused the two together, and created the Fairy Tale Princess Tutu Collection.
The most treasured opportunity that has come from this business is the special relationship I have with the girls from Dance for Fun out of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Dance for Fun is a community-based dance program in Atlanta, Georgia, open to children with all levels of disabilities. Dancers have a variety of diagnoses such as Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and Autism. Some of the children use an assistive device, such as a walker or wheelchair, while dancing or use a special computer to assist with communication. Dance for Fun has been featured on CNN and Atlanta local news. Classes are held weekly and are led by a pediatric physical therapist and occupational therapist. The group also participates in several community dance performances each year!
Being able to provide these ballerinas with tutus throughout the year has put purpose and joy behind Little Miss Princess Tutu!
