Q: Will the SmartSeat cover fit my chair?
A: The SmartSeat chair cover is designed to snuggly fit most dining room and kitchen chairs, even those with side arms. It looks great on chairs ranging from 18″ to 25″ wide (measured at the widest part of the chair seat).

Q: How can the SmartSeat cover protect my furniture?
A: The SmartSeat is completely waterproof. Instead of spills soaking into the fabric of your dining room chairs they land on the cover and can then be quickly and easily cleaned. The cover is machine washable and stain resistant.

Q: How do you clean and care for a SmartSeat chair cover?
A: SmartSeat is easy to clean: simply hand or machine wash on gentle cycle in warm water and line dry. For stubborn stains, try a diluted bleach solution (1 part bleach, 10 parts water).

Q: What is the SmartSeat chair cover made out of?
A: SmartSeat is made from safe, toxin-free polyurethane coated polyester knit that is used to make soft medical products found in hospitals and doctors’ offices. The webbing straps are lightweight polypropylene.

Q: How does the SmartSeat fasten to a chair?
A: SmartSeat chair covers easily attaches to your dining room or kitchen chairs using adjustable straps that securely hold the cover in place.

The SmartSeat was created when  Becky bought a new dining room set and couldn’t find a simple, waterproof, and attractive protective cover for her chairs. She didn’t want sticky vinyl covers that flopped over the seat and squeaked when sat on. And, having purchased fabric upholstery that she loved, she didn’t want a slipcover that would completely change the look of the chairs. Armed with scissors and a stapler (she can’t sew!), she fashioned the first SmartSeat. The design has been tweaked, but the concept is the same: a simple, safe cover that protects your upholstery and looks great too.
