If you have a product you would like to see on Mom 4 Life, I want to know about it.  However, first please read the info below so you will be more informed about the process:

Please note that until August 1, 2008 I am taking a break from product considerations in order to focus on baby #3 (due at the end of May).  Please feel free to review the information below, however I would appreciate it if you waited to contact me with it until August 1.

-Mom 4 Life only offers mom made or invented products.
-Mom 4 Life prefers to focus on products not readily available on the mass market or "big box" stores.
-Mom 4 Life is only interested in high quality, well made, useful and unique products.

If you believe your product fits the criteria above, keep in mind:
-You do not need to have a website for your product in order for Mom 4 Life to feature it.
-You do not need to be on other websites to be considered.

Please note: If you have a line of children's clothing (including onesies and t-shirts), or baby bibs or blankets, we currently are very selective about the clothing we offer and are not actively looking for new lines.  If you feel that your line is exceptionally unique, please email us first so we can look over what you have to offer.

What Mom 4 Life will need:
1) Email me at heather (at) mom 4 life (dot) com (remove spaces and replace (at) and (dot) with the appropriate symbols).  Please include:
-Features and benefits of your product
-Images of your product
-Information about your wholesale price(s) and if you offer drop shipping (if you don't know what this is just ask).  If you do offer drop shipping, please fill out this form and attach it to your email.
-Your contact info

I will review your info and reply back to let you know if I feel your product is a good fit for our line and customer base.  If it is, you will move on to the next step:

Why do I need a sample?
I want to see it first hand, touch it, feel it, try it out and see if it offers a "Wow" factor for me.  I want to love your product as much as you do and be ready to stand behind it, answer questions about it and promote it for you with confidence.  I have A LOT of products on my site but this is NOT because I add every product that is sent to me for consideration.  I only add products I can fully endorse and feel excited about.  Typically we choose many of these samples to later use for our blog's "4 Free Friday" giveaway if we end up adding your product to our site, which creates some great additional "buzz" for your product.

What to include with your sample:
-Features and benefits of your product
-Fabric swatches if applicable
-Information about your wholesale price(s) and if you offer drop shipping (if you don't know what this is just ask)
-Your contact info

What to expect once you send your sample:
I get several samples each week for consideration.  I will take a few days to a week to try out your product.  I may show it to friends, family, or other moms to get their feedback.  I will decide if it fits the qualities needed to be featured on Mom 4 Life and then will email you back with my feedback.  I will usually do this on the weekends when I am less busy with customer emails.

What should you do if you haven't heard back from me on a sample you sent?
Email me (heather at mom 4 life . com (without spaces))!  I may not have received it or I may still be thinking on it or I may have just not had a chance to email yet.  Either way, following up after your sample has been sent is a good way to keep me focused on your product and, in all honesty, I prefer for you to follow up because it helps me see you are serious about the process.

What if you want your sample back?
Please include a postage paid return envelope with your sample.  If you decide not to have your sample returned to you we often donate it to a mom in need or use it for a promotional giveaway for customers, thus increasing your brand awareness.
 

What if Mom 4 Life wants to add your product, what happens next?
Congratulations!  You are about to be added to an amazing line up of products on a fast growing one-of-a-kind website.

Here is what I will need from you:
-You will need to provide a description of your product(s) highlighting the features, benefits as well as customer comments if applicable.  This can be from a text or Word document or can be simply made available to me on your website.
-You will need to provide high quality clear images of your product.  At least one of these will need to have a pure white background for use as an icon photo.  Internet sales are dependant on good photos.  If you do not have good photos currently, ask me and I can provide you with the contact information for my photographer that does many of the product images on Mom 4 Life.  She is professional, friendly and reasonably priced (yes, even for small mom owned businesses) and very good at what she does!
-You will also need to provide a 1-2 paragraph bio about yourself telling about how you came up with the idea for your product or how you started your business and a photo of yourself or yourself and your children to be featured along with your bio.
