You probably wouldn't guess how I grew up.  This mama spent the first seven years of her childhood with her family in a cozy log cabin, built by her lumberjack father, tucked ten miles outside of a small mining town on a dirt logging road.  This little home, although full of love, had no electricity and an outhouse as a bathroom!  When we needed to vacuum, we would start a generator in our shop and voila, we had power (for the time being).  My first phone conversation wasn't until six years of age (until that, we just used my dad's CB radio--and don't feel bad if you don't know what that is, most people don't!)

So how did I venture from that unique childhood to become an internet lovin', web-savvy mama?  First, it started by marrying a man that graduated with a degree in computer science.  Then, it had everything to do with my dream and God's grace.

All great adventures must first begin as a dream. My dream was to stay at home with my son Hunter, while also helping the family financially. I committed my dream to prayer and asked God for wisdom. I realized that there were many options that could work, but only a few that I would be truly passionate about. I have a lot of passion for being a mother, so helping other moms was a logical place to start.

I began by searching for a few unique products that would be helpful to almost any mom. In October of 2003, I found my first product and Mom 4 Life was born. The first product I carried was the New Native Baby Carrier followed soon after by LilyPadz. I was so excited about these two great products and knew that other moms were sure to love them as much as I did.

Soon thereafter, I began to get recommendations from other moms about products that they knew and loved. Thus, my inventory began to grow including additional unique and useful items like Hooter Hiders, Glamourmom tank tops, the Bella Band, and Bravado nursing bras.  Suddenly, my dream had become a reality.  As my business grew so did its effects on others.  My eyes were opened to the amazing talent of other mothers working from their homes and my product line quickly expanded to make room for the unique and useful products they offered.  I am proud that Mom 4 Life's extensive product line is comprised entirely of the handiwork of moms.  As you browse the site, I hope you will take time to read their stories featured with their products and know that your purchase helps these mothers achieve their dreams as well. 

Now a mom of two, I have the opportunity to see motherhood through new eyes again with my daughter, Ashlyn.  She has only reconfirmed my commitment that I am doing exactly the right thing--being a mom.  Regardless of how many products I offer or how large my business grows, my primary goal will remain the same: to offer unique products at great prices with exceptional customer service! I am rather picky about customer service: I like to be appreciated as a person rather than viewed as a number. I want to do the same for you!

	Anneke is the one you will likely talk to if you call or email us with a question or concern.  Her friendly voice will greet you and her problem solving attitude will work to get to the bottom of your situation.  If you're just having a down day, you might try giving her a call, she is pretty good at lifting the spirits in any situation.
	Kristen is our resident expert for processing orders and also works to keep our changing inventory up to date and unpacking shipments.  Her careful hands will do your free gift wrapping and write out your hand written notes.  She is detail oriented and if I let her, she will probably have our office alphabetized and color coded by the end of the year!  Kristen had her first baby at the beginning of 2008 and since that time has been working from home keeping the details of our website in order.
	Britta keeps busy offering assistance with processing and packaging orders, handling returns and exchanges, unpacking shipments, and providing occasional consultation to our team in the area of fashion and style (check out her stylish rain boots in our "office" video above).
	Linda is in charge of special orders that are shipped directly from the moms that make them.  She contacts the moms with the details of your order and follows up to make sure that each order was received.  Linda, previously a nurse, is enjoying the laid back atmosphere of Mom 4 Life and we enjoying having her!  Have any medical questions?  She might even be willing to offer you a personal consultation!
	Anica is skilled in graphic design and uses her talents to design our print needs such as business cards and magazine ads.  She also is the one to add the new products that you will find under the "new items" link.  We have so many new things to share with you that she keeps busy nearly each day with something new.  Anica is a Mom 4 Life to Mia and does her work for us from home in Idaho during nap time and after Mia's bed time.
	Sarah is our packing specialist.  She is the one to gather your order together and get it ready to ship in a timely, accurate manner.  With an eye for detail, she is able to fill a volume of orders is a short amount of time to ensure that you are not waiting a moment longer than needed for your goodies!  A self proclaimed "computer nerd", Sarah is also available to help out if any minor technical emergencies may arise.
