Child Locator (Brown or Pink): Simply mount the adorable, teddy bear shaped receiver to your child's shoe or belt (recommended) or find an alternate sturdy mounting location, such as suspenders. Switch the teddy bear receiver to the "ON" position and press the button on your keychain remote to arm the units. This is actually a unique operation, as the Mommy I'm Here technology will choose a new channel from an approximate 1500 possible channels each time to greatly reduce the chance of interference from other users.

You will now have added peace of mind when out with your child anywhere. Whenever you see that your child has wandered, simply press the button on your handy keychain remote and it will automatically set off an audible, 90 decibel alarm from the teddy bear receiver, allowing you to locate your child and attract attention to the situation your child may be facing from approximately 150 feet away! (Range subject to battery strength & geographic location)

Alert (Blue): Simply attach the soft, blue teddy bear receiver to your child's shoe or belt and press the button on your keychain remote firmly to arm. You will hear a series of faint chirps, signaling that the system is ready to use. Whenever your child decided to wander from you, your keychain transmitter will emit a series of chirps, alerting you that your child has wandered approximately 30 feet away. You will then press the button on your keychain transmitter to set off the alarm on your child's teddy bear receiver. As a bonus safety feature, your keychain transmitter will continue to chirp until you are within close distance to your child, at which time the units will reset and sync back up and be ready to go again!

What is the difference between the Mommy I'm Here Alert, and the Mommy I'm Here Child Locator?

With the Mommy I'm Here Child Locator, you have to notice that your child has wandered off and then you press the button on the remote to beep the teddy on your child to locate him/her. The Child Locator works on a distance of up to 50 meters to beep your child to find him/her.

With the Mommy I'm Here Alert, when your child wanders off between 3-10 meters away from the parent unit, your remote will beep alerting you that your child in no longer in your perimeter. You then beep your child's teddy back to see where he/she is located. The Alert works on a distance of up to 50 metres to beep your child to find him/her.

The Alert is the same as the child locator but has the extra feature with the perimeter warning. Please bear in mind that the alert feature cannot be switched off. Your decision of which one to purchase also depends on how much freedom you want to give your child. For example, if you want to go out for lunch or coffee, and your child wants to play on the playground, the parent unit for the Alert will keep going off as it cannot be deactivated. In a circumstance like this, you would need to use the Mommy I'm here Child Locator. If your toddler is a "runner", you have a baby which pre-occupies you when you are out, or you are going away and concerned about your child in the airport, then then the Alert would be suitable for your needs.
