How do I measure myself for a bra?
- Put on your best-fitting bra, find a tape measure and relax.
- Measure around your body under your breasts--not too tight, not too loose.
- Round off the number to the nearest whole inch and add 5" to this number. If this is an odd number, go to the next highest even number. This is your band size.
- Measure around your body at the fullest part of your breast--not too tight and not too loose.
- Round the number off to the nearest whole inch. Subtract the band size from this measurement.

When I birthed and nursed my babies in the mid-1980s, the choices were really limited. My favorite nursing bra had multiple cotton layers, 1/2 inch thick—and that was a prettier bra! But as a dancer and costume designer I knew that a thoughtfully designed bra in the right fabric enhances curves and makes the wearer feel gorgeous! My vision was to create a nursing bra which pampered the woman in the mom, comfortable enough for all day, every day wear.
