Lil' Topper by Dache

Children love to copy their parents. If mom or dad routinely drink from a bottle of water, you can bet they will be asking for it too.
Until the invention of Lil' Topper though, most of the water in the bottle wound up on the child, in the stroller, car seat, couch, or on the carpet.
Lil' Topper is a no-spill top for bottled water that will fit 99% of the bottles available through your local retailers.
Whether you're at the mall, an amusement park, a convenience store or a restaurant, there's sure to be a bottle of water that Lil' Topper will fit. You can give to your child water with Lil' Topper and know that everything will stay dry.
Lil' Topper is great for:
- family vacations
- riding in the car
- birthday parties
- day care
- home care
- grandparent care
- walking
- biking
- sailing, boating
- flying, riding the train, riding the bus, and much much more.
Give them as a gift at a birthday party, or as party favors. Kids love 'em!

Lil' Topper is 3 or 4 times smaller than the smallest "sippy cup." This means you'll have to carry a lot less when you're headed out with the kids.
With a Lil' Topper tucked away in your diaper bag or purse you don't have to worry about what your child will drink if there's a change of plans for the day's activities. Bottled water is available nearly everywhere.
You can easily refill a water bottle too, at a fountain, a tap, or home water dispenser. New bottles need not be purchased every time.
HOW IT WORKS The Key . . .A Patented Silicone Valve The patented valve keeps fluid inside the bottle until enough suction is applied and the valve is drawn back on itself. Once this happens, a restricted flow of fluid travels through the valve and into the mouth of the user.
To Use Simply remove (and dispose of ) the cap on the bottle of water. (The tops are small and are a choking hazard.) Screw on the appropriate Lil' Topper and you're done!
Why Two Colors? Each color of Lil' Topper is designed to fit a specific thread type. There are two dominant thread types in use in the bottled water market. Lil' Toppers have been color coded so you'll know which one to use on the brand of water you've purchased. A common thread type is a relatively coarse thread with a single starting point. This thread type is used by Aquafina, Dasani, Sparkletts and many other brands. The blue Lil' Topper fits these bottles.

Known brands that use this thread type: Albertson's, Aquafina, some Arrowhead, some Dasani, Deja Blue, Fiji, Gerber Spring Water, Ice Age, Ironman Triathalon, Naya, Odwalla, Palomar Mountain, Ramona, and more!
All brand and product names mentioned here are trademarks and/or registered trademarks of their respective holders.
The other common thread type is a relatively fine thread is used by Arrowhead and Kirkland and nearly all Nestlé Waters brands. The fine thread is unique in that it starts in three different places right at the top of the bottle. The yellow Lil' Topper fits these bottles.

My husband and I are just regular people living in suburban America, more specifically the Inland Empire. I love being a stay-at-home Mom to Zachary (7), Abigail (4) and Kyle (3) and my husband is a Loan Officer for new construction. Here's the story behind our product…
When Zack was about 6 months old, I was always drinking bottled water. And, like most kids, Zack started noticing what Mommy was drinking. He quickly lost interest in the expensive sippy/sports cups we bought him and was wanting to drink from the bottle that Mommy had. Inevitably though, when we'd give it to him or help him get a sip, he, his car seat, the couch, the floor, etc. would end up a big soggy mess. So, we instantly became inventors and came up with a way for kids to get the water they want and need without the mess.
Our quest began in 2000 and finally came together in 2003 when, a few bucks shorter and a lot more sleep deprived, we completed our first run of finished product.
