Kipiis (“Kip-eez”) Bib Clips let you make anything a bib - napkin, cloth diaper, kitchen towel. Just clip the two rounded fasteners onto whatever’s handy, adjust the back—and violà! Kipiis Bib Clips are sized with consideration for current safety standards. The back adjustor functions to secure and center the bib while worn. When fully extended, the “legs” measure 9-3/8 inches (including clips). They can be shortened to accommodate a small child or lengthened for an average size adult. The clip fastener and adjustor are made from ABS resin for durability and colorfastness, while the legs are constructed in flexible thermoplastic rubber. They are upper-rack dishwasher safe.

Inventor and entrepreneur Diane Evershed realized the need for something more practical during visits from her toddler-age nephew. Having raised children, she often found herself searching for stylish solutions to many everyday parenting needs. She devised the idea of something that would solve her problem of needing a bib at a moment’s notice with a useful tool that can easily be transported without fuss.

Evershed took her idea to award-winning product designer Kim Porter of Portland, Ore.- based HatchOne to realize the design. Porter, a mother of three, instantly gravitated to the idea. She had been using a waiter’s clip to hold a diaper to her toddler as a makeshift bib. Having worked for Portland-based Ziba Design and Nike prior to starting HatchOne, Porter knew how to translate a live idea into a compact, efficient and memorable design.

The chic new product features clips with “antennae” that are fully adjustable to secure the bib while worn. The clips are sized with consideration for children’s safety requirements and engineered to withstand heavy use. The clip is made out of ABS resin for durability and colorfastness, while the cord is constructed in flexible thermoplastic rubber.

KIPIIS was founded in 2002 by Diane Evershed to bring savvy, thoughtful solutions to everyday inconveniences parents face in raising young children. Kipiis is based in Portland, Oregon.

I cannot say enough about Heather. She is extremely prompt with orders and emails. For some reason, the size Blankeaze we were wanting was not in the pull down bar and Heather called that afternoon to let us know that she did have it available. WOW!! How many other businesses would actually pick up the phone and call to make sure you are getting exactly what you want? Not too many. Heather is wonderful. I actually feel as if I have known her for years. I also loved the fact that it is very obvious that she is a Christian woman and runs her business accordingly. Secondly, the prices are unbeatable.
