How do they work? LilyPadz's Unique Design works on the age-old principle that pressure on the nipple (like a finger) temporarily stops breast milk leakage, LilyPadz keep that pressure constant, even in the absence of a bra. So instead of absorbing your milk, LilyPadz prevents you from leaking altogether! LilyPadz are so thin you no longer have to worry about them showing through your shirt or bra. You can even wear them swimming! They can be used and re-used as much as you like.

How do you use them? LilyPadz nursing pads are easy to use. Simply remove the LilyPadz from the hard plastic shell.  Place the LilyPadz over your nipple with the self-adhesive side toward your skin. Press the center of the LilyPadz onto the nipple and smooth out over your breast. Just lift off the LilyPadz to nurse your baby and then re-apply after feeding.

How many times can they be used? Unlike other nursing pads, LilyPadz can be rinsed and reused over and over and should last at least two months with normal use and proper care. Just wash with mild soap (soaps like Dove and Softsoap are not recommended) and water, rinse, and air-dry before re-applying. Since LilyPadz dry almost instantly, you have no downtime in the laundry like other reusable nursing pads. (It’s recommended that you wash LilyPadz at least once a day or whenever they become soiled.) You can even sterilize your LilyPadz if desired.  Just place in boiling water for 1-3 minutes (boiling longer may affect the tackiness).

How many should I buy? Most women have found that they like to have two pairs of LilyPadz – one to use and one spare pair. Because of this, I offer 5% off your price if you order two!

I just received my lily padz in the mail (wow - super fast shipping!) and so far I love them! they are very comfy and no leaks! I think I have tried every brand available of the disposable pads and was not happy with any of them (mostly because they were so obvious! it was nearly impossible to "hide" them under a t-shirt - they all made my chest look like it had 2 big white eyeballs or fried eggs!)...I am very happy with my "lilies" and am definitely going to recommend them to my girlfriends who are pregnant or to those that just had their babies.  thanks so much! - Shelley

Hi Heather, Just wanted to let you know, these LilyPadz are awesome! I am pregnant with #5 but not due until February; however, I wanted to go ahead and try these out as a bra alternative (need something to take care of the whole "headlights" problem). These are great! I can just wear them with a camisole with built-in shelf bra and it works perfect. And I don't feel like I'm wearing anything at all. I got the Lily Padz today- WOW. They are awesome like you said!! My husband was looking at them like "What the heck are these things?" It was hysterical when I put them on and he kind of just looked and like a light went off in his head. He asked "So, does this mean I wouldn't wake up with a wet back?" I hope so!! (I like to cuddle up next to him and I leak ALL the time so- hopefully this will help). I usually use 4+ cloth pads at night time so...We'll see tonight!! Alaina

A friend told me about your Lilypadz and they are awesome!  I just ordered a pair and will tell my friends about them.  Although I have children (8yrs & 9yrs) I won't be using your product for what you intended.  I will use them when I can't wear a bra with a particular outfit.  There is an untapped market for this product.  They are light weight, paper-thin and virtually  invisible.  Best of all no bra straps show!   Perfect for wearing under the sheerest material.  It is truly a unique and innovative product. My 6th little blessing is due any day now, and I just ordered the LillyPadz... Oh, how I wish I found them sooner! I am sick of the disposable nursing pads (I end up spending a fortune), and I have always found cloth washable nursing pads to be extremely uncomfortable. I am anxious to try the LillyPadz and so very excited that I can wear them with my swim suit! I'm sure I will love them and will make sure all of my friends know how great they are! Christine

I normally only use them when I leave the house b/c of how much they are (ok, so I am cheap) and when at home use my velour breast pads (made by a WAHM, of course). There are many reasons that I LOVE them, 1st - you just don't EVER leak. I still leak and have been nursing for 7 months but when I wear these I never have to worry about the wet ring (oh so embarrassing). 2nd - not sure about you all but I have constantly hard nipples when nursing, at least in clothes it always looks that way. Since you push your nipple in to apply the LilyPadz it is gone. Now when I wear t-shirts or tanks I don't worry about that. Just the other day I was wearing a nursing tank and went and grabbed these b/c my nipples were showing. 3rd - SOO easy to clean. I wash out my breast pads each night and these are by far more simple to clean up. Cloth pads have to dry but these little beauties can be gently patted dry with a towel and they are ready to go again and again. I have purchased LilyPadz along with a nursing necklace or bracelet for new mamas that I know - great gift! Jessie

I recently purchased the Lily Pads and I was bit nervous to start using them because I didn't believe it would catch all my milk. But, for the most part it proved me wrong. It's great because you cannot see the breast pad lines like you can from the disposable pads and it really blocks the milk from leaking. However, at night when I have a large amount of leakage it does seep through. But, this is only at night and I do produce a lot of excess milk. Grace

Like most nursing Mamas, I've been there with the constant leaking that can occur during the first few months of breastfeeding. I also know that you will only have a leak at the worst most possible times: during a job interview, posing for a family portrait, talking to the mailman, in the grocery check out line. Heavy cloth or disposable nursing pads are bulky and hold moisture against your body, causing bacteria and yeast to thrive. LilyPadz nursing pads are very different! They are a soft silicone rubber pad (think giant rubber contact lens) that stick to your breasts, not your bra. They use a kind of suction force to keep close, preventing milk from ever coming out in the first place!
